On Tuesday 26 June, "Hemma hos Clas Ohlson" opened its doors at Bogstadveien 58 in Oslo. The store is the first Clas Ohlson store of its kind.
- Clas Ohlson is about making life easier for people at home, and this is a good example of how we think in new ways to strengthen our offer by making the customer experience even better and more convenient for the customer. The customer's home is our commercial arena and by focusing on a selection of our range, we can show our customers how we are relevant to them in specific situations, says Lotta Lyrå, CEO of Clas Ohlson, who was in Norway on the occasion of the opening.
"Hemma hos Clas Ohlson" is the first Clas Ohlson store of its kind, and is a concept store that will remain open until the New Year. Here, the customer will get a more comprehensive presentation of Clas Ohlson's products in a homely setting. In collaboration with the flower supplier Botanik.no and the home delivery service Porterbuddy, the store will also offer a large selection of flowers and plants as well as home delivery of goods.
- We want to take good customer service to a new level, and by being able to offer home delivery of our goods directly to customers' homes, we show that Clas Ohlson is a company that stands out. I am convinced that we will see more such initiatives in the future where different types of companies and industries come together and create new alliances that give the customer better accessibility and as good and comprehensive an experience as possible, says Lyrå.
The concept is based, among other things, on feedback and wishes from our customers, in addition to visits to the customers' homes themselves. In the new store at Bogstadveien 58, there will be advisers who will help the customer tailor good and inspiring storage solutions for the home.
- A tidy home gives a tidy head and we also know that green plants contribute to a better indoor environment - that's why we team up with Botanik.no - who with their green fingers and expertise in plants help the customer to create harmony and a wonderful vibe in home, says Communications and Marketing Manager Ina Kristin Haugen.
The store experience of the future Hedda Braathen and Tessi Werner, the founders behind the flower chain Botanik.no, is happy about the collaboration with Clas Ohlson and, like Lyrå, believes that the store experience of the future will be even more about being able to offer different products across industries - which in turn will benefit both the companies and the customers.
- We are very happy to be part of the "Home at Clas Ohlson" concept and look forward to an exciting collaboration. Flowers are an important part of the decor in the house, but it can sometimes be difficult to imagine which plants and flowers can fit where. When we can now display flowers directly in a "home", this will help the customer to make the right choices. Together, we will give the customer a very pleasant experience when they are "At home at Clas Ohlson", says Hedda Braathen, general manager of Botanik.no.
Clas Ohlson will organize customer evenings from autumn with courses, tips and tricks for the home from Botanik.no and Synnøve Skarbø, among others. The store will be an experience center for interiors and storage.
